I love the meaning behind Thanksgiving. One day, surrounded by the people you love. and feeling all those feelings of gratitude wash over you. Most of us have so much to be thankful for. and although our day to day lives might keep us busy and disconnected from this fact sometimes, I bet if you sat down to make a list of your blessings it would be a long one. From waking up healthy to having a roof over our heads, to having the people we love next to us, and the loving memories of the people we've lost. To have work that pays the bills and for some of us who are extra lucky, to have work that fills us with joy and purpose. To have friends, family, to be able to spend time with them. To have food on the table, to feel safe and be one of the lucky ones on this planet who aren't suffering the horrible effects of war, political turmoil and insecurity of any kind. When we look at the big picture, I think most of us can agree that we're probably the lucky ones, and I say this having gone through my share of problems, sadness and grief. There is not a day that passes in which I don't walk in the morning with our dogs and feel utterly blessed for being where I am today.

So yes, I love Thanksgiving, but today I want to dedicate this post to a very special someone who I'm so thankful for I can't think of that fact for more than 2 seconds without hugging him in a completely embarrassing way... in public... which he hates! This in a way will be the virtual equivalent, so I'm sorry in advance babe! I just can't help it today! I'm thankful for the amazing man that has been my partner in crime, love and life (and now my partner in Brownble!), my hubby Carlos. My life completely changed the moment I met him, he has given me the best years of my life and made them exciting, calm, loving, hopeful and especially fun. Earlier this year he got the idea for us to start this new adventure we call Brownble together (you can read all about that story in our about page and in this post), and you'd think we would have killed each other sitting side by side at the computers arguing about fonts and which pecan pie photo was the best one, but it has been the coolest most fun ride ever and I only love him more! He is so passionate and dedicated, he always wants to make people happy and always wants everything to be fun. Babe, you have taught me so much in this life, you have made it sweet, lively, funny and so full of love. Every single day when I wake up I love you more, and I feel blessed and thankful to know you and to spend my life with you and our furry little ones. Life is so sweet next to you three.

Before I let you go, there's one more thing I need to say. Something else I'm so thankful for that it makes me jump out of bed every morning as if it was Christmas Day, and it has to do with you. I feel so grateful to you, that I made a little video.

Happy Thanksgiving!

May it be merry, joyful, yummy and full of love
