You've heard me talk about the importance of being prepared and getting organized when it comes to eating a healthy vegan diet. When I talk about organization and your health, I almost always refer to 3 different aspects. The kings of planning to succeed when it comes to healthy eating:

  • Keeping an organized kitchen and living space.

  • Batch cooking some staples for the week ahead, and...

  • Meal planning.

Today we're kicking off the organizational tips section of your online program with an amazing video that will teach you all about two different tried and true meal planning techniques I love. I have used them both and they work incredibly well, for different reasons. We're explaining why meal planning is essential for creating healthy eating habits that last, how to get started, and the pros and cons of each method so you can find what works for you.

When it comes to eating a varied healthy and delicious vegan diet that is full of nutrients, nothing beats meal planning and it's one of those tools that I never go without. I even have a little meal planning drawer in my kitchen that is reserved only for this purpose! Here I keep my planning template, my quick binder (you'll learn all about this in the video), and a pencil. Nothing else goes in that drawer. Trust me when I tell you that this is a kitchen tool as important to me as my knives or wooden spoons which are right next to it. Yup, it's that powerful folks!

Think about it, we keep perfect lists and schedules for our appointments, work deadlines and social engagements, so why not for our food which is something we have to make 3 or more choices for every single day?

The good news is it doesn't have to be complicated and I'm guiding you through it step by step in today's video. Are you ready?! Let's do this thing!

Members, enjoy your video! More is coming tomorrow and all I can tell you is... it's sweet!
