NEW VIDEO FOR MEMBERS!: AMY'S SEITAN SATAY

Something really exciting is happening today in our online program My Brownble. Not only are we cooking up this delicious recipe for seitan satay made completely from scratch with a coconut and peanut sauce, but this was actually a personal request by one of our members. You guessed it! Amy asked us to create a recipe for seitan satay and as usual we delivered. That's one of the great things about having an ongoing program with new content added weekly. I love to get special requests and we worked so hard on this one in its recipe testing stage, that I honestly believe it's one of the best recipes on the site. You can thank Amy for that!

Making seitan from scratch is well worth it, since you can really infuse a ton of flavor into it. You can't even compare it to the store-bought kind. Today we're teaching you how to make it using my favorite technique: braising, and in combination with the veggies and especially the rockin' sauce that goes with it, this really is the perfect, meaty, Asian treat. Plus it's vegan meaty goodness on a stick and that's just plain fun.

Our latest video and recipe for members is a total treat to the tastebuds. I wanted to create a healthier version of traditional mashed potatoes by reducing (or in this case eliminating!) all the butter and cream found in this traditional side. I turned to pumpkin, as I thought it would provide amazing moisture and give that fluffy texture we all love in good mashed potatoes, and she totally delivered! This recipe is as healthy and as delicious as it gets, especially since I'm also teaching you how to make a beautiful chickpea "quick stew" with turmeric and miso, that gets poured all over the potatoes, sauce and all! Let's face it, what's better than mash and gravy?!

NEW VIDEOS FOR MEMBERS!: PIÑA COLADA SMOOTHIE AND QUINOA STUFFED MUSHROOMS WITH A LEMONY TAHINI SAUCE

We've got two delicious and super healthy recipes for you today! If you committed to eating more whole plant based foods this January with us, let me just say you're doing great! Today we're giving our members two new videos to continue on this journey, starting with the most tropical and refreshing piña colada smoothie. I love having plant protein rich smoothies at the end of my workouts to fill my body up with goodness and refuel, and this one is definitely one of my favorites and it's so quick to make.

The second video we have for members this week is one of Carlos's favorites as it includes one of his favorite foods on this planet: mushrooms! Mushrooms provide countless health benefits, a delicious meaty texture, and the very ellusive umami flavor which has been proven to really satisfy cravings. Here's why I like them though, they're perfect for stuffing with even more deliciousness! These quinoa stuffed mushrooms are filled with the most flavorful veggies and herbs, and everything is drizzled with a creamy lemony tahini sauce. You won't believe how yummy these are, and perfect if you're trying to have a protein rich meal without too many added starches.
