In My Cocoon

Hello my lovelies! Today we're having another one of our more informal/personal episodes in the podcast. That means we won't have a fully written version of this one, but you'll of course be able to listen to everything in audio format!

If you've been following us on instagram (we're @brownble in case you're not following yet), you probably know by now that we've been up to something. Something BIG! We also went somewhere special to do it, and I've just come back from the most intense two days in brownble history EVER.

In today's episode I'm telling you all about my cocoon, why I need it, and how I made it in spite of not being a cute caterpillar, I discuss the topic of self care, a bit of what we've been up to, and the huge importance of finding your very own internal rhythm and getting to know yourself.

I also get ooey gooey talking about what it's like to work with my partner in crime and in life, and much more.

Lessons Learned on a Picnic Blanket in a Town of Twelve

Yes, there is such a thing as a town with only twelve people, and yes, it is as weird and as magical as it sounds. This little piece of heaven, which was right in the middle of nature, acted as a bit of a sanctuary for us recently when we took a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and headed out. Teaching me a few lessons along the way.

For today's post and podcast episode, we're doing something a little different.

Summer Picnic Fun Vlog!

I can't believe it's already August. This summer is just flying by, but I have to tell you I've been enjoying every second of it. We've been biking, swimming, hanging out by the pool, barbecuing in our terrace, and yes, we've been eating a lot of awesome food.

Three new vegan restaurants opened up on the same week over the summer, so we've been on a vegan culinary tour of the city every weekend.

One of the highlights of our summer thus far however has been a mini road trip we took to one of my favorite spots in Madrid. A beautiful reservoir where you can go for the day, swim, have a picnic, take your dogs, and we did it all! It's the famous Pantano de San Juan (San Juan Reservoir) in the Alberche river, and quite frankly the closest thing we have to a beach since Madrid is smack in the center of Spain with the closest beach a minimum of about 3 or 4 hours away in every direction.
